Achievements & Acknowledgements

Thanks to a philosophy founded on sincere and cordial hospitality, exacting care for the smallest detail and high quality cuisine, the Gardena has already reached many important milestones.

In the autumn of 2004, the Gardena Grödnerhof Hotel became a member of the prestigious international chain Relais & Châteaux. This is an honour as well as an acknowledgement of decades of dedicated service to our guests. Relais & Châteaux's famous "5 Cs" - Courtoisie, Charme, Caractère, Calme, Cuisine (courtesy, charm, character, calm and excellent cuisine) are also the guiding principles of our philosophy, and the cornerstones behind our success.

	2013 Michelin Guide The Michelin Guide awarded one star to the “Anna Stuben” gourmet restaurant and its chef de cuisine Reimund Brunner.

	Der Große Restaurant & Hotel Guide Reimund Brunner, chef de cuisine of the “Anna Stuben” was conferred the award “Unser Aufsteiger 2013“ by the famous German guide “Der Große Restaurant & Hotel Guide“.

	2008 Hogast Internet Award The Gardena Grödnerhof wins the 2008 Hogast Internet Award, the sector’s Oscar for the best hotel and restaurant websites in Austria, Bavaria (Germany) and South Tyrol.

	Besser Essen und Reisen In 2005, the Gardena and its owners, Hugo and Cinzia Bernardi, were conferred the title of "Hotel and hoteliers of South Tyrol " by the famous German guide "Besser Essen & Reisen" ("Eat and Travel Well") published by Atlas.
	L’Espresso “2013 Restaurant Guide of Italy” The prestigious L’Espresso 2013 Restaurant Guide of Italy awarded 15.5 points to the “Anna Stuben” gourmet restaurant.
	2013 Gambero Rosso Guide The 2013 Gambero Rosso Guide awarded 85 points to the “Anna Stuben” gourmet restaurant.
	2009 Italian Touring Club Guide The 2009 Touring Club Italiano Guide awarded two medals and 82 points to the “Anna Stuben” gourmet restaurant.
	2013 Gault Millau The 2013 Gault Millau awarded two hats and 16 points to the “Anna Stuben” gourmet restaurant.
	“South Tyrolean enogastronomic culture award” (2006) (“Restaurant” category) During the 84th edition of the Bolzano Wine Show, the “Anna Stuben” gourmet restaurant received the South Tyrolean enogastronomic culture award.
	2009 Veronelli Guide The 2009 Veronelli Guide awarded two stars to the “Anna Stuben” gourmet restaurant.
	Schönhuber Franchi-L’Espresso “Novelty of the Year” Award In October 2005 the “Anna Stuben” gourmet restaurant received the Schönhuber Franchi-L’Espresso “Novelty of the Year” award from the prestigious L’Espresso 2006 Restaurant Guide of Italy.
