This year we celebrate the centenary of our hotel. It is an important milestone for our house and a special occasion to rejoice and remember a century of change, evolution and development from a small guesthouse to a five-star Relais & Châteaux hotel.

It all began in 1923, when our grandparents, Anna and Anton Demetz, bought a private house and turned it into a guesthouse. Continuous extensions and improvements followed, from a small hotel with a restaurant to today’s luxurious 5-star hotel. From the very beginning, the well-being of our guests has always been at the centre of our activities. This is why we would like to thank our loyal guests and friends, who have placed their trust in us over the years, as well as our valued staff members, who continue to support us and evolve with us.
