Here, in the Dolomites, even the most demanding sports aficionados will find all the fun and excitement they’re looking for. The Dolomiti Superski ski circuit ̶ 460 lifts and cableways and 1220 kilometres of slopes ̶ is your gateway to the entire Dolomites region. Val Gardena alone has 84 lifts and cableways and 176 km of slopes where you can enjoy all the excitement of new experiences every day.
There are lots of thrilling adventures to experience on the famous Sella Ronda ski route, leading round the mighty Sella massif and offering 26 km of downhill trails. The just as interesting Val Gardena ski route takes skiers from the Seceda up to Piz Sella or to the Gardena Pass, over the famous Saslong slope.
During the 1970 World Ski Championships, Val Gardena’s slopes became part of skiing history. Since then, the downhill race is held on the Saslong every year to inaugurate the World Ski Cup.
Winter sports lovers will particularly enjoy our hotel's central yet peaceful location: a world offering lots of exciting activities is just a few steps away. In fact, just 200 metres from the Gardena Grödnerhof you'll find ski-lifts and ski fields, the ski school, the Alpe di Siusi cableway and the ultra-modern covered passage way, with escalators and people-mover belts, that will take you to the Seceda cableway, leading to the fantastic ski circuit of Val Gardena and the famous Sella Ronda. Thrill to the excitement of a brand new adventure every single day!
